secret weapons part II

Close your eyes and pretend you are a spy.  You cant see anything. What do you do?  Use night vision goggles!  When you turn on the goggles, a small flashlight casts a bright beam  upon the scene for anyone wearing the goggles.  The down side is nothing can be scene by the target.

secret weapons

This is called an OSS glove pistol.  It was made by the U.S.O.N.I(US Office of Naval Intelligence) in WWII.  To fire it, you just make a fist.  That triggers the switch to fire it.  Sometimes if the spy and someone else get into a fight(the spy is dressed as a construction worker), when the spy punches the guy he is dead.

the 39 clues

I made an account on a website called www.the39clues.com and the first book I am reading is really interesting. The series is really cool for spy/code-breaking lovers and for people who like to read. The books helped me learn how I can become a spy. If you want to make an account, I would be glad.

Thomas Jefferson

Now we are going to talk Thomas Jefferson.  I know this is crazy but even though he wrote The Declaration Of Independence, he also invented the cipher wheel.  Yeah that's right.  He invented the cipher wheel.  I cant exactly make a cipher wheel but what I can do is do some research on Thomas Jefferson when he first invented the cipher.

First were going to talk about my favorite cipher: the Greek Square Cipher.  It looks like this:

                                                    1     2      3     4     5
                                             1     a     b      c     d     e
                                             2     f     g      h     ij     k
                                             3     l     m     n     o     p
                                             4    q      r      s     t      u
                                             5    v     w     x    y      z

If you were to encipher my dog's name(Kenzie) it look like this:
                                          251533552415

Q@A's: Q: Why are i and j in the same spot?
A:The reason why is it wouldn't fit in the square.  The person who is solving a code should know it when he/she realizes it's an I or j.

Becoming a Spy

If you are reading this, you are about to learn how to be a spy, learn about other people who have also became a spy and solve codes.  I created this website so children can learn what a spy is supposed to do.  So look at this web site and learn how to be a spy who breaks codes!
